It was Samantha's birthday and Alma had decided to try and spend the day incognito to avoid her birthday madness. "What is it?" She sat up.RUSH, chapter five.
He was holding a little box. Had he actually got something for her on his wife's birthday? She loved him a little more suddenly. "Well..." He began, searching for the right words. "I remember... you probably won't remember this, but... when you were seven, your Mom gave you this necklace... it was an owl pendant. And you lost it after she died..."

RUSH, chapter four.If it wasn't already evident that Alma hated parties, it became so when she spend most of the night sitting on a lounge chair out back by the pool. It was actually really nice outside-for November. The only sources of light were the lights from inside, and the pool lights, making everything glow blue around it. It was nice, Alma had to admit. Except, it made her feel ridiculously alone. The only other people around were couples. One of the couples just happened to be Shea and his lovely girlfriend. She really was gorgeous, and Alma recognized her. He knew Alma was there, but it seemed they were both attempting not to acknowledge eachother's eRUSH, chapter four.

RUSH, chapter three.Henry lived in a one-bedroom apartment in downtown Atlanta. It wasn't the nicest of places, but it wasn't the worst, either. Peach actually loved it, to Alma's surprise. She once told her that one day, when she married Henry-she was absolutely certain that they were definitely going to get married-they'd stay in the same apartment. Until they had kids, at least.
